Stop the Executive Order to Ban Mail-In Voting and Voting Machines

Stop the Executive Order to Ban Mail-In Voting and Voting Machines
The Issue
Donald Trump has pledged to sign an executive order banning mail-in ballots and voting machines—threatening to upend the way tens of millions of Americans vote. We cannot let this happen.
Mail-in voting has been a lifeline for seniors, rural voters, people with disabilities, and working families who can’t always make it to the polls. It's not a partisan issue—it's about basic access. In the 2020 and 2022 elections, record numbers of Americans used vote-by-mail to make their voices heard safely and securely. There’s no verified evidence of widespread fraud, and repeated audits and court rulings have upheld the results.
Trump's plan is more than just a political talking point. If carried out, it could throw elections into chaos and strip power away from the states—who are the ones constitutionally entrusted with running elections. A single federal executive order should not be allowed to override the rights of states or the will of voters.
Beyond the legal overreach, the logistics alone are staggering. Eliminating voting machines would cost billions of taxpayer dollars and force a scramble to hand-count millions of ballots. That would mean longer delays, more human error, and more doubt cast over results—not less.
We must not let misinformation about our election systems be used as an excuse to suppress votes or dismantle decades of progress. Instead, we should be expanding access, improving election infrastructure, and strengthening trust—not tearing it all down for political gain.
Sign this petition to demand that Congress, state leaders, and election officials stand up now—before it’s too late. Oppose any executive order that bans mail-in voting or voting machines. Protect our right to vote securely, accessibly, and efficiently.
Our democracy depends on it.
