Stop the establishment of data centers in Arkansas
The Issue
My fellow Arkansans, we are facing a grave threat to our beautiful state. Proposed data centers in Arkansas will destroy our land, contaminate our water, and severely impact the quality of life across our state. Already, other regions with data centers have reported troubling spikes in illnesses linked to pollution. Communities living near such facilities often see rises in respiratory diseases, various cancers, and other life-threatening conditions.
Moreover, data centers require enormous amounts of water for cooling, which can deplete our local water resources, affecting agriculture and drinking supplies. This could leave our farmers and citizens grappling with severe water shortages.
