Flagler County is no longer what it once was which was a relatively quaint (at least for Florida) north eastern seaboard county. With a lot more green untouched spaces, than others along the coast, where Floridas true locals or native plants and animals to be more specific can survive and thrive, it is for this reason why when you drive down state road 100 and you have those trees and tropical forests and wetlands on either side that make Florida and Flagler county so beautiful and not a concrete jungle like all other eastern cities in Florida. Developers and City Commissioners and the public in general may not realize that having these natural untouched lands is an asset because to them if it’s not making money and filling pockets than what’s the point, but these untouched plots of land are assets they are what make Flagler county special and look and feel different from other areas and not as I said before a concrete unattractive city dump. From a visual perspective a city is much more visibly pleasing if it’s broken up with green in between more people would be drawn to live here I believe for that reason if an area looks nice and neat more people would consider moving just because it looks good, simple as that. Also if Del Web and the two plus other developments are built the traffic on that stretch would be terrible it would take students and employees an extra 10 plus minutes to get to work, that traffic is already bad enough from BJs and that extra traffic light in front of it. At midday I’ve sat in traffic for 40 minutes a couple of days at 3 pm with the post school crowd and it is awful I can’t imagine what all these other developments along the same stretch of road would add to that wait time cause 40 minutes of wait time is already too long and uncalled for. So please for the sake of the people and plants and animals that already live and have lived in Palm Coast, do not allow those developments to be built, Flagler county has enough homes, traffic and soon lack of green spaces, if action is not taken these problems will be greatly amplified, you can’t build nature once it’s gone it’s gone it is the one thing that can’t be built and for that reason must be preserved. Keep Florida what it originally has been known and named after as the flora state or “place of flowers” but also fauna (Flagler County in particular) again it’s what makes it special and beautiful.
