Under the guise of wildfire prevention, these changes fast-track logging, silence local and tribal voices, and strip away the very protections that have kept our forests intact for generations.

This isn’t about safety, it’s about profit. By gutting oversight and pushing for more commercial logging, the administration is opening the door to clearcutting ancient trees and disrupting ecosystems that can never be replaced. Old-growth forests, already under siege from climate change, insects, and disease, are now being targeted not for restoration, but for timber sales.
