My garden backs onto the field next to Crook Log leisure facility. It's a safe place for kids to play football, to laugh, learn, and socialize. The prospect of transforming this vibrant space into a golf pod facility threatens to take away this vital recreational area from our community.

Crook Log leisure facility has been at the heart of our community for many years, offering a place where locals can exercise, meet friends, and lead active lives. The addition of a golf pod goes against the ethos of community accessibility and shared spaces. 

The implementation of a golf pod facility could commercialize this beloved space, restricting its use to local football teams. 

It will create both noise and light pollution with proposed opening hours from 8am to 9pm daily. Completely changing the local environment from a quiet residential street to one with continuous noise and disruption. 

Moreover, turning this field into a golf site doesn't just affect leisure activities—it impacts wildlife too. The current green space supports various species of local flora and fauna, and its alteration could disrupt the natural habitat and reduce biodiversity.
