A big thank you to all those who have signed to date. At over 16,000 signatures, this is a fantastic testament to the support and need for this valuable service. We are now 3 months on, and a decision on the future of Noah's Ark WA has yet to be announced. An expressions of interest process was undertaken by the Independent Living WA in November who stated that "there was a strong response to this process and several applications were received." “Each applicant underwent a detailed assessment process that was based on a range of criteria, including sustainability; meeting the needs of families; financial viability and governance; and knowledge and skills.” In a recent email sent to parents on 25th Jan, the Independent Living Centre stated: "We continue to work diligently to finalise the application process for a preferred applicant to take on Noah’s Ark WA services. We are working towards announcing the outcome of this process as soon as practical and apologise for the time delay and any inconvenience caused. We thank you for your patience whilst we continue to work towards a positive outcome for Noah’s Ark WA.” The library remains closed.
