The Royal Bank of Scotland has announced its intention to close its branch on Tranent High Street in July 2023. This will have an adverse impact on its individual and business customers as well as local community groups who bank with the branch, the high street and the whole town, leaving it without a single bank branch. We are calling on the bank to reconsider the decision and keep the Tranent branch open.
