The BSL destroys families and kills innocent animals. NAD bad and neglecting owners, NOT INNOCENT ANIMALS! discrimination based solely on appearance should not even be considered. BSL discriminats against dogs on how they look, not upon behavior. This law will be ineffective, inhumane and is also in violation of The Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Construction is sectioned from the Bill of Rights thatThousands s unreasonable search and seizures and requires any warrant to be judicially sanctioned and supported by probable cause. Not to mention the amount of tax payer's money that will spent if BSL is carries out. Thousands of dogs have already lost their lives in Mississippi just because they we believed to be "Pit Bulls and vicious" animals. BSL cannot prevent dog bited or attacks. The Pit Bull breed as a whole has proven their stability and good canine citizenry be becoming: Search and Rescue dogs, Therapy dogs, working inside hospitals with patients whom are I'll, professional herding and sporting dogs for a way of living and by serving families as faithful companions for many years. Let's stop the distraction from the real problem and focus on the real issue at hand, irresponsible owners. BSL is also opposed by the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Kennel Club, the ASPCA, the Humane Society of the United States of America, and many other organization and most importantly the many residents of the state of Mississippi are strongly opposed to the BSL and will sign my as a legal residents of the state of Mississippi and is opposed to the Breed Specific Legislation.
