The Broward County School Board has taken it upon themselves to transfer Principal Peters to Hallandale High School without any input from students, staff or parents. She is being "rewarded" for doing her job by being sent to a failing school to "save it" instead of being allowed to continue to growth and success she has achieved at Flanagan.

What Mrs. Peters has accomplished during her tenure at Flanagan has been nothing short of miraculous. From the teachers to the parents and to the small businesses in the area, we all are involved in our community and Mrs. Peters has been the bridge that has connected us all to not only support our students but empower them to cultivate their educational curiosity as well.

By relocating Mrs. Peters to a school in need, the School Board is not only doing a disservice to the students at Flanagan High School, but also to all those in the community. 

Please sign the petition and join us at the School Board meeting on June 18th where they seek to vote to approve the relocation. Let our voices be heard! We should have a say as to who is the principal we want leading our school!
