To all county officails, Mayor Currin, Council Members and Anthony Bales:

We are opposing your proposal for a Bow Hunt in the Hudson. Bow hunting is not a civilized method of controling deer populations. It is inherently cruel and inhumane. Massive information is available showing the realities of the Deers suffering from thier wounds a slow and painful death. The statistics are that an Adult Hunter with a 70lb bow, have wounding rates of 50% at best. That leaves the other 50% laying in pools of blood gasping and crying until they die from several hours to days.
