Petition updateStop the barbaric cruelty! Our Heritage Brumbies need you NOW!

With closure of KNP on 11 November until 29 November, to shoot and eradicate "feral pest" species, it has been pre-empted, and let slip, Brumby populations will be targeted. Unknown numbers will be brutally shot from helicopters. Only you can change that.

BRUMBIES need your urgent support to stop the wholesale slaughter of the surviving brumbies in KNP, like this little foal. We cannot allow our Heritage brumbies to be shot from moving helicopters, mares in foal chased until exhausted, foals at foot falling and shot, and brave stallions trying to protect their mobs take shots to the back.

The abhorrent cruelty must stop.

We need you to help the Brumbies. Please call your Members of Parliament and ask them to apply pressure to call off the lethal management, to urge a population count using a credible methodology and rehoming for any numbers beyond 3,000 in accordance with the Plan.

Please review the List of NSW Members of Parliament, find yours and make the call that might change the tide, ask that the MP speak up for Brumbies to call for a halt to the barbaric cruelty that is taking place NOW in KNP
