STOP THE MADNESS! We are in a state of crisis, killing animals that are perfectly healthy! Why are they SO DISPOSABLE? Why???? Is this how we like people to see our state???? What is the answer? There are several! For starters:

-As long as our domestic pets are lumped in with the farming and agricultural industry, we cannot get a grip on the overpopulation problem. We need to mirror Colorado and have a “Bureau of Animal Protection” which applies SPECIFICALLY to domestic pets, thus making them separate from farm animals. 

-The state needs to provide appropriate funding to employ enough people to STRICTLY ENFORCE A MANDATORY SPAY AND NEUTER LAW. 

-The state needs to fund a large number of LOW COST mobile spay and neuter clinics. And they needs to be in constant movement throughout our state.

-The state needs to fund enough employees to STRICTLY ENFORCE THE LEASH LAWS.  

-The state needs to fund a division of animal welfare that strictly applies to stopping backyard breeding. Breeders need to be inspected. Monitored. LICENSED. And have strictly enforced limits on how often/how many dogs you can breed. BACKYARD BREEDERS NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN. 

These are some of the most critical issues that need addressed and change made NOW. 

Mayor David Holt, Governor Kevin Stitt, and mayors across this state- WE ARE DEMANDING TO BE HEARD. We are DEMANDING change NOW!
