N.Y. Thoroughbred Breeder arrested for 35 counts of Animal Cruelty

All 44, 518 Supporters of "STOP the Animal Neglect in Columbia County, N.Y." would like to thank the New York State Police, Troop K, for arresting Andrea Nussinow, owner of "Blue Star Thoroughbred Breeding Farm" for 35 counts of Animal Cruelty.
On 3/17/20, the New York State Troopers arrested Nussinow for multiple counts of Animal Cruelty. The 35 violations of Animal Cruelty laws Nussinow was charged with included "torturing, causing injury, and starving" dozens of animals, including severely neglected Thoroughbred mares and foals. This is the second time Nussinow has been arrested by the New York State Police Troopers for multiple Animal Cruelty violations since 2017.
Now it's up to Paul Czajka, District Attorney of Columbia County, N.Y. to fully prosecute this case to protect the animals as required by Federal and State laws prohibiting animal cruelty, and to safeguard the community. Research as shown intentional cruelty to animals is strongly correlated with other crimes, including violence against people.
Thanks to the 44,518 Supporters of "STOP the Animal Neglect in Columbia County, N.Y." this serious Animal Cruelty case is being monitored by outside agencies to make sure the case is fully prosecuted this time, and is absent of any attempts to "tamper with the evidence", "obstruct justice" and "intent to commit insurance fraud" against the Government and Taxpayers.
