N.Y. Thoroughbred Breeder arrested for 35 Counts of Animal Cruelty

All 36,096 Supporters of "STOP the Animal Neglect in Columbia County, N.Y." would like to thank the New York State Police, Troop K, for arresting Andrea Nussinow, owner of "Blue Star Thoroughbred Breeding Farm". On 3/17/20 the NYSP arrested Nussinow for multiple counts of Animal Cruelty. The 35 violations of Animal Cruelty laws Nussinow was charged with included: "torture, causing injury, and starving the animals".
A special thanks to all the members of the Public who filed complaints with the “ Authorities” for the past six years, and never gave up hope these animals would someday be rescued. Thanks to Godspeed Hostel & Horse Rescue and many Volunteers who helped save all these horses and animals from suffering more years of selective starvation and torture.
Ironically, on March 19, 2019 Nussinow filed a multi-million dollar "False Arrest" lawsuit against the County of Columbia, while the animal abuse continued in clear view until 1/2/20. The animal abuse continued without the New York State laws against animal cruelty being enforced by the designated Animal Welfare Agency.
When is Paul Czajka, District Attorney of Columbia County, N.Y. going to finally prosecute this Animal Cruelty case, or is he going to allow the Animal Abuser to be "enriched" by "settling" the case and false assertions made against the County ? Any financial "settlement" with the Animal Abuser after "torturing, injuring, and starving" animals for many years would not only be an injustice, it could be perceived as allowing "Insurance Fraud" against the Government at the expense of the Taxpayers. During this catastrophic pandemic and financial collapse, the last thing our Government needs to do is to "pay" criminals for committing their henious crimes through insurance fraud.
