N.Y. Thoroughbred Breeder arrested for 35 counts of Animal Cruelty

All 36,341 Supporters of "STOP the Animal Neglect in Columbia County, N.Y." would like to thank the New York State Police, Troop K, for arresting Andrea Nussinow, owner of "Blue Star  Thoroughbred Breeding Farm".

On 3/17/20 the NYSP arrested Nussinow for multiple counts of Animal Cruelty. The 35 violations of Animal Cruelty laws Nussinow was charged with included: "torture, causing injury, and starving the animals".   

A special thanks to all the members of the Public who filed complaints with the “ Authorities” for the past six years, and never gave up hope these animals would someday be rescued. Thanks to Godspeed Hostel & Horse Rescue and many Volunteers who helped save all these horses and animals from being "selectively starved" and "tortured".

All 36, 341 Supporters of "STOP the Animal Neglect in Columbia County, N.Y." are confident Paul Czajka, District Attorney of Columbia County has enough "evidence" to prosecute and convict Nussinow for multiple counts of Animal Cruelty violations which have been unabated for years, and disallow her from owning or caring for any animals in the future. 

Animal Cruelty has no place in our society. The Taxpayers of Columbia County want the "Authorities" to enforce the New York State laws prohibiting Animal Cruelty, and fully prosecute all violators, not just a select few. The residents of Columbia County also do not approve of any possible "secret" deals made in this case at the expense of the Government and the Taxpayers. Any "financial settlement" with the Animal Abuser would be perceived by the public as "Insurance Fraud" and subject to full disclosure and investigation by the New York State Department of Financial Services and New York Attorney General's Office.
