N.Y. Thoroughbred Breeder arrested for 35 counts of Animal Cruelty

All 35,910 Supporters of "STOP the Animal Neglect in Columbia County, N.Y." would like to thank the New York State Police, Troop K, for arresting Andrea Nussinow, owner of "Blue Star Thoroughbred Breeding Farm". On 3/17/20 the NYSP arrested Nussinow for multiple counts of Animal Cruelty. The 35 violations of Animal Cruelty laws Nussinow was charged with included: "torture, causing injury, and starving the animals".   

A special thanks to all the members of the Public who filed complaints with the “ Authorities” for the past six years, and never gave up hope these animals would someday be rescued. Thanks to Godspeed Hostel & Horse Rescue and many Volunteers who helped save all these horses and animals from enduring more years of selective starvation and torture.

Ironically, on March 19, 2019 Nussinow filed a multi-million dollar "False Arrest" lawsuit against the County of Columbia, while the animal abuse continued in clear view until 1/2/20. The animal abuse continued without the New York State laws against animal cruelty being enforced by the designated Animal Welfare Agency.  

Maybe the Federal Court System can figure out what's going on with this ongoing Animal Cruelty case? How much more money do the taxpayers need to spend on this case before the District Attorney in Columbia County, and the designated Animal Welfare Agency enforce the NYS laws against Animal Cruelty? How hard can enforcing the NYS laws be with many of the “same” and "newly" emaciated horses in clear view suffering for months and years? How many more horses need to be starved to death at this Thoroughbred Breeding Farm before the Animal Abuser is prosecuted? Apparently, enforcement is as difficult as the designated authorities in Columbia County want to make it, which has led to this N.Y. Thoroughbred Breeder being allowed to commit these heinous crimes against these animals for the past six years !

So, now it's time for Paul Czajka, DA of Columbia County to finally prosecute the Animal Abuser, or will he knowingly allow the Government's Insurance policy to pay a "Fraudulent Liability Claim" to reward the Animal Abuser ? Don't take your eyes off this case, or the Taxpayers could end up being "on the hook" to pay millions to the Animal Abuser if the Prosecutor and/or designated Animal Welfare Agency screws this case up again. Maybe that was the plan from the beginning to intentionally "botch" the first Grand Jury Hearing in 2017 to create a multi-million dollar "False Arrest" lawsuit, or more likely, the Animal Abuser provided false statements, omitted information, and misled the Grand Jury under oath without immunity ? It's one way or the other ? 

Is Paul Czajka, District Attorney of Columbia County, N.Y. going to prosecute or pay the Animal Abuser for "torturing, injuring, and starving" all these animals?

35,910 Supporters of "STOP the Animal Neglect in Columbia County, N.Y." will not allow any animal to be tortured, or the County ( the Government ) Insurance Company to be ripped off, especially during the catastrophic medical and financial crisis we are all experiencing.
