32,200 Supporters want Paul Czajka, DA to file Animal Cruelty charges

Thanks to our 32,200 Supporters of " STOP the Animal Neglect in Columbia County", Governor Andrew Cuomo and Letitia James, NY Attorney General heard your voices !

Now it's time for Paul Czajka, District Attorney of Columbia County to file Animal Cruelty charges against the owner of a Thoroughbred Breeding Farm in Columbia County, New York for the ongoing Animal Cruelty violations, and fully prosecute this case.

Since 2014, the public has filed numerous Animal Cruelty complaints about this farm but the animals were not protected, as required by New York State law. Horses of all ages and breeds have been starved at this farm, in addition to numerous donkeys, cows, sheep, cats, and rabbitts. Since 2014, dozens of animals have been killed, and many more will die if Paul Czajka, DA doesn't fulfill his responsibilities and fully prosecute this serious Animal Cruelty case.

There are dozens of complaints on record made to Columbia Greene Humane Society ( CGHS ), "the lead Animal Cruelty Investigative Agency" in Columbia County, but the laws against Animal Cruelty were never enforced ? Why ?

Why is it so difficult for an Animal Welfare Agency that accepts donations from the public to fight "Animal Cruelty" find it so hard to enforce the laws against Animal Cruelty at this Thoroughbred Breeding Farm ?  It appears the public already knows the answer to this question, and will no longer allow this Animal Cruelty case to be "hindered" or "obstructed" from justice being served.

The People of Columbia County refuse to let this one Thoroughbred Breeding Farm continue to neglect, starve and kill the animals, and waste the taxpayers valuable time and resources with the endless "dead end investigations" performed by CGHS. The public is also aware of the tens of thousands of dollars the County of Columbia is now wasting on this case because the designated "authorities" have been unwilling, unable or incapable of doing their jobs to protect the animals.
