Hunting with dogs was banned in 2005 in reaction to public outcry. The public finally stood up for voiceless tortured wild animals and were strongly against the cruel bloodsport of wild animals being chased, often to the point of exhaustion, before being purposely set upon by packs of dogs and ripped apart in front of huntsmen and other riders for so called 'sport'.
Despite this illegal activity being banned The Angel Hotel in Abergavenny continue to host the Hunt outside its hotel every Boxing Day promoting the torture and cruel inhumane slaughter of animals all to make money from the sick, barbaric, uneducated minority public who still continue to support this cruelty. 

Where were Monmouthshire Council yesterday in banning the road closure ? Where were the police in stopping this illegal activity ? Where is the Welsh Labour Party in taking action against a law they created that is ignored.
This needs a huge public outcry by us educated people that will no longer stand for this taking place in our town of Abergavenny and bringing shame to our town from across the UK.

Please sign this petition so we can pass it to Monmouthshire County Borough Council , Gwent Police and Welsh Government and above all Please do not give your custom to The Angel Hotel Abergavenny in 2023 until they stop hosting this barbaric spectacle ! Stop eating and drinking at this Hotel until the open their eyes and stop exploiting animals to the suffering and torture of blood sports !
