Stop the $1000 accomodation "entitlement" for politicians.

Stop the $1000 accomodation "entitlement" for politicians.
The Issue
Our politicians receive a $1000 weekly "entitlement" to reside in their own homes. This disparity is not only unjust but also a misuse of taxpayer money.
The Members of Parliament (Remuneration and Services) Act 2013 stipulates in Part 3 that the entitlements of members and ministers should regard principles that include fairness to taxpayers and transparency in the allocation and use of public funds.
It's time we hold our politicians to account and demand a fairer system. Instead of unjust "entitlements," let's prioritize subsidy and reform for those grappling with the housing crisis.
Your signature is a step towards responsible governance and a more equitable society for all.
