End the tax funded "Double Dip" loop hole !

  Many elected and appointed officials collect full tax funded pensions and full salary's plus benefits (at the same time) - all tax funded. This is called "Double Dipping" - its a scheme by which they retire just after being re-elected or after being elected to higher or the same office. 

 They retire for a week or so usually during the Christmas break, then come back to their new position. This allows them to collect their full tax funded retirement plus tax funded benefits. They also collect the full tax funded pay and benefits of their newly elected/re-elected position. All tax funded ! 

  This scheme takes planning and approval from the retirement system ! Its usually hidden from voters and taxpayers during the campaign cycle. There is no disclosure law/rule to force them to disclose this plan/scheme while running for re-election or higher office. 

 While the Politicians point the finger at workers for the rising costs of tax funded benefits and pensions - they "Double Dip" and some get 2 and 3 pensions or combined multiple tax funded pensions.

 Governor Cuomo and others promised pension reform, why doesn't that reform include elected and appointed officials.     Therefore we ask President Trump and our pension managers to remove the "Double Dip" loop hole for Elected and Appointed officials.
