I attended the planning & zoning meeting this evening.  The developers were there to go over the plans.  Unfortunately Stephens Preserve isn’t the only proposed development.  Stephens Preserve consists of 116 single homes ranging from $450-$500k.  The other development would exit onto Pierce Rd & would consist of 400 homes.  There would be 3 different areas, some single family homes & I believe some townhomes.  Stephens Preserve would bring about 350+ new residents & the other development would easily bring over 1000.  Now is not the time to sit around and hope people speak up.  There are two planning & zoning meetings per month, go to them!!!!   We need your voices at these meetings.  When schools being over populated we’re brought up we we’re told Cecil Co deals with the schools, it’s not the town’s problem.  Please know more teachers, police & fire will be needed as people move in.  Your tax dollars will pay for those things.
