Recently, some Taylor Swift fans have been stalking her specific location and crowded outside, waiting for her to leave. Taylor has said various times, throughout the years, that she doesn’t like when people do this. It makes her very uncomfortable. Although this was my inspiration for the petition, many other celebrities have experienced the same thing. It has become more and more common.
Paparazzi, in addition, have practically no limits and have become more dangerous to the celebrities over the years. They have a lot of similarities with the stalkers. They constantly will cross the line just to get a few pictures, not giving the celebrities any privacy. This has led to an increase in anxiety and paranoia among the celebrities targeted by paparazzi, more aggressively. However, paparazzi has always been like this. It’s time that we finally change that too.

Sign this petition if you’re interested in more laws surrounding stalking (for celebrities and everyone else too) and the paparazzi! It’s very important to work fast on this because the stalking has gotten worse over time. If we don’t change anything, the celebrities that we love could risk getting, at least, seriously injured. This would also possibly lead to an increase in stalkers for everyday people.
