The Issue

St Paul's Cathedral is far more than a historic landmark. It is a consecrated house of God, a place of prayer, worship, and spiritual refuge that has stood at the heart of our nation's Christian faith for generations.

While I welcome efforts to engage with wider communities, I am deeply concerned by reports of  the partnership between St Paul's Cathedral and Fabric nightclub. A cathedral's primary purpose is to glorify God and provide a space for worship and reflection. Partnerships that could blur that identity risk compromising the distinct and sacred role the Cathedral holds.

This is not about excluding people. The Church should be open to everyone. It is about preserving the integrity, witness, and spiritual significance of one of the world's most recognised Christian places of worship.

I respectfully urge the Dean and Chapter of St Paul's Cathedral to reconsider any partnership with Fabric nightclub and to ensure that St Paul's remains, first and foremost, a place dedicated to the worship of Jesus Christ.

Please sign this petition if you believe St Paul's Cathedral should remain a sacred space devoted to faith, prayer, and worship.
