My name is Mae and I am 12, I am starting this petition to try and stop the amount of speeding and dangerous driving that is happening in my road and local area, Oliver Road, Fernhill Road, Burbush Road, Wilkins Road, White Road and Horspath Road. 
We do not feel safe in our community anymore, we are worried about someone getting really badly hurt. We are worried because the roads in our area are being used as racetracks by dangerous irresponsible drivers. 
Everyone is being affected by this, it’s scaring young children, the parents are scared to let their children out to play and to walk themselves to and from school, the adults are worried about there being a bad accident and someone getting hurt  and everyone is getting frustrated with the fact these drivers are using our area so carelessly without a thought for us who live here. 
If we can make a change and stop our area being used this way then we as a community will be able to feel safe again, but also we want a change and this to stop because we can all see it is an accident waiting to happen and we don’t want anyone hurt, we want everyone to be kept safe. 
Everyone has the right to feel safe in their own community, that’s all we want.
