Solar geoengineering, also called solar radiation modification (SRM), refers to large-scale atmospheric interventions intended to reflect sunlight away from Earth to cool the climate. While proponents claim it may reduce global warming, the risks far outweigh the benefits. The following facts highlight the scientific, environmental, legal, and ethical dangers of these experiments.

⚠️ Scientific and Environmental Risks
1. Ozone Layer Depletion
Studies show that injecting sulfate aerosols or other reflective particles into the stratosphere can deplete ozone levels. This damages Earth's protective UV barrier and increases cancer risks, crop loss, and ecological harm.

Held: If the nuisance affects a class of people, it's actionable — regardless of intent.
The Public Trust Doctrine: This ancient principle, upheld in many modern jurisdictions, holds that certain natural resources (air, water, sunlight) are preserved for public use, and governments are trustees, not owners.

RE: Objection to Outdoor Solar Geoengineering Experiments and Declaration of Global Risk
This International Notice is hereby issued as a lawful and moral objection to the proposed and ongoing geoengineering experiments sponsored and conducted under the authority of ARIA and the United Kingdom Government, specifically involving solar radiation modification (SRM) and reflective particle aerosolization under the false guise of “climate mitigation.”

These acts represent a clear and present danger to the biosphere, planetary climate systems, the hydrological cycle, ecosystems, atmospheric integrity, and public health worldwide, and are illegal, unethical, and unlawful under natural law, international law, customary law, and environmental protocols to which the United Kingdom is bound.

 

 
 

I. FORMAL NOTICE AND DEMAND
We, the undersigned members of the human family and stewards of the Earth, hereby:

Refuse consent to any and all solar geoengineering activities, in any form, for any reason.

Demand the immediate and unconditional cessation of all outdoor geoengineering activities under the ARIA program or any other associated entity.

Assert personal and institutional liability against all actors proceeding in violation of this Notice.

Failure to comply will result in:

International legal action

Global class-action civil and tort suits

Environmental criminal prosecutions, including charges of Ecocide

Binding notices of liability filed against all responsible persons and entities

This Notice is binding and permanent, under the Law of Agency, Fiduciary Duty, and the fundamental principles of Natural and Customary Law, and may be entered into public record for use in future judicial, civil, or criminal proceedings.

 

 
 

II. VIOLATIONS OF INTERNATIONAL LAW AND PUBLIC TRUST
Your actions violate, without limitation:

The Convention on the Prohibition of Military or Any Other Hostile Use of Environmental Modification Techniques (ENMOD), 1977

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), 1948 – Articles 3, 25, 28

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)

The Precautionary Principle (Principle 15 of the Rio Declaration, 1992)

The Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, 2007 – Article 29

The Public Trust Doctrine, a principle of fiduciary law governing environmental stewardship.

The Nuremberg Principles, which establish personal responsibility for crimes against humanity and the environment, regardless of governmental orders.

The Aarhus Convention (1998), guaranteeing public access to environmental decision-making processes.
In addition, these actions violate customary international law, binding on all states without exception, recognizing the inherent right of all peoples to a healthy environment.

 

 
 

III. GRAVE RISKS TO HUMANITY AND PLANETARY STABILITY
Your unauthorized actions threaten to:

Destabilize global weather patterns, causing catastrophic droughts, floods, and agricultural failure.

Destroy atmospheric ozone, leading to spikes in cancers, ecological collapse, and human suffering.

Cause geopolitical conflict and environmental warfare, in violation of global peace and security.

Create permanent dependence on atmospheric manipulation, endangering all future generations.

Violate the informed consent rights of billions of human beings, non-human life, and indigenous nations.

These risks constitute ecocide, defined as the extensive destruction of ecosystems and biological life support systems, and are recognized as an international crime.

 

 
 

IV. NO AUTHORITY EXISTS TO ALTER THE SKY, SUNLIGHT, OR ATMOSPHERIC SYSTEMS
It is hereby affirmed:

No state, corporation, agency, or scientific body holds lawful authority to alter the commons of the atmosphere, the hydrological cycle, or the solar influx upon which all life depends.

Any such attempt constitutes a crime against peace, a violation of public trust, and an assault against the Earth itself.
Consent has not been given. Consent is explicitly REFUSED.

Silence does not imply agreement. Consent must be informed, affirmative, and freely given — it is not present, and is hereby formally withdrawn.

 

 
 

V. FINAL NOTICE: PERSONAL LIABILITY UNDER NATURAL AND INTERNATIONAL LAW
Be advised:

All individuals, officials, researchers, contractors, sponsors, financiers, and collaborators involved in unauthorized geoengineering activities:

Will be personally named in international complaints and civil claims;

May be criminally prosecuted for gross negligence, reckless endangerment, ecocide, and crimes against humanity;

Shall be liable in their private and public capacities, without immunity, indemnity, or statutory protections.

No corporate veil, no government office, and no institutional shield shall protect those who engage in crimes against the Earth and humanity.

 

 
 

VI. DEMAND FOR IMMEDIATE INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION
We hereby demand:

Immediate independent investigation into all geoengineering activities by neutral, international environmental bodies;

Immediate disclosure to the public of all experiment plans, data, risk assessments, funding sources, and private collaborators;

Immediate public hearings and global consultation, before any further action is contemplated.

This document serves as:

A lawful objection under natural law, constitutional principles, and binding international law;

A public notice of withdrawal of consent to any and all unauthorized geoengineering activities;
