Please help stop Solar Farms from being constructed on Green Belt land, this land is of the best agricultural land and should remain free from development, there are 2 planned developments in our area of Dale Abbey Derbyshire, which is a beautiful countryside setting that many people come to visit, these planned areas of development have public footpaths running through them and would totally spoil the visual amenity of this area for everyone for the next forty years, it will also have a massive impact on our local wildlife and all of us residents who live close by.

This is just the starting point and once one gets passed it opens the flood gates for others until in years to come we have no green fields to enjoy, whilst there is a need for renewable energy and we take that on board, surely the first port of call  would be of brown field sites and why not put them on the roofs of all the industrial units popping up everywhere.

 We need to take action to prevent green field sites from being eradicated and protect our wildlife that eventually will have no where to go, please help us and sign the petition
