Stop Solar Farms in Madison County, Ohio
Why? Besides destroying thousands of acres of good farmland, solar panels are an eyesore and devaluate our homes, homes we spend 30 years paying for. Our electric bill will not lower. Our homeowner tax will not lower. THERE ARE NO BENEFITS!
Solar Farms kill honeybees, geese descending to land and disrupt our habitat. Old/damaged panels put our drinking water at risk, leaching hazardous cancer/nerve damaging chemicals like lead/silicone. Panels interfere with radio/TV reception. Panels are noisy on sunny days
More fossil fuel-burning equipment is needed to transport and manufacture them. Solar panels need replaced from damage and old age. And there is no plan for old/damaged panels. Huge substations are built within 5 miles and allowed 50 feet of property lines.
