Currently vehicles parked on a public slip road off Kenton Road at VB & Sons are being issued with Parking Charge Notices for parking vehicles for over 60 minutes.

On the slip road, there are several shops and businesses but unfortunately its only VB & Sons have enforced above parking restrictions and P-Civil Enforcement are issuing Parking Charge Notices.

Though there are cardboard Notices displayed outside VB & Sons, but it is not clearly marked, exactly what part of the road is included in above restrictions. If cars are parked outside another business next to VB & Sons, it is exempt from restrictions but practically it is impossible to determine where the cut off point is on the road !

Moreover, why should  private business be permitted to issue penalties, if the Council has not put any restrictions as to Permit Holders and timings etc and displayed their notices on the road accordingly.

Poor public is being put at risk of getting undue stress and loosing money for Council not controlling the road management properly.

This petition is to request Harrow Council to review above restrictions implemented by private businesses such as VB & Sons and reverse such authorisation to make these PCNs unlawful.
