Hello people of the United States of America. I am making this petition to stop the application "Securly" which is likely installed on many of your school Chromebooks. Securly takes your location and shares and even sells your information and gives it to buyers. Securly also blocks so many websites that could be needed for academic purposes. It also blocks some fun things and recently I got in trouble for getting around Securly after I finished my homework, on my own time on a Saturday, just so I could play a game with my friend for a few minutes. My school did not decide that that was a thing that I was allowed to do and they got pretty mad. This came originally from Change.org user "gntmmjy ytjymymy" "Securly violates the law COPPA, a law that protects children under the age of 13, securly it breaks other laws by invading privacy and taking information, it also tracks your location. someone got stalked by a stranger because it sells your information. It also has one star and terrible reviews. So it should already have been removed from Chrome Web Store. Whenever you go to a “blocked” site, It tries to look innocent by having gnomes. Your administrator could be watching your screen at any time, My administrator could be watching me right now. Every time you do anything a notification/popup is sent you the administrator in your area. This is why I think Securly should be banned!"
