Scientology has been accused of committing and covering up crimes and abuses for decades! All the while, hiding behind their religious tax exempt status, granted to them by the IRS in 1993. Hundreds of ex members have come forward and testified of crimes and abusive practices within the organization, which include: child labor, elder abuse, credit card fraud, assault and battery, labor trafficking, coerced abortions, abuse of their tax exempt status, forbidding members to report sexual assault to the authorities, harassment and intimidation - even of law enforcement and government officials -  to name a few. Several civil lawsuits have recently been filed against Scientology and its leader, David Miscavige. In at least one case, they are currently under investigation by a grand jury. 

     We as taxpayers are continuing to subsidize the activities of this destructive, multi-billion dollar organization while they financially exploit their members, and while their growing elderly population lives in neglect and squalor - many working until they become disabled or die. 

     Congress, the IRS and U.S. Law Enforcement need to take notice and investigate these numerous allegations. Make your voice heard by signing this petition today!
