When a child is sent to school, parents want them to have an quality education, to have  an opportunity to create strong friendships, and have preparation for their future. Every parent want their children to be safe and secure. More than one out five students will be bullied this year. This is probably happening to someone you know or care for. Bullying can affect everyone, those who are bullied, those who bully, and those who witness bullying. Bully come with negative outcomes including impacts on mental health, subtance use, and suicide. It is important to talk to children to determine whether bullying is a concern.

Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalanced.No one should not feel that they can't go to school because they feel they are uncomfortable or unsafe. 

By recognizing the problem is one of the first tasks to prevent and stop bullying. School should have clear rules for preventing bullying. Creating a safe environment where students feel safe and secure is an environment where they can thrive. One need to be mindful and search for the the signs. Many students do not speak up about bulling due to fear or even shame and this is why it is important to pay attention to the the child's behavior since they could have been a victim of violence. Schools usually offer bullying prevention programs. By letting students to develop emotional intelligence, learn to listen and learn to understand how others feel and speak about their problems can play an important role to prevent bullying. Parents play an important role for upbringing of their child, so it is important to engage and work as a team towards solutions. Organizing workshops and lectures on undesirability of bullying. Often students manifest bullying outside school, therefore, preventing violence in school won't always be enough. Students need to prepare to behave adequately as they are not in school.

Everyone need to contribute towards bullying prevention. Simply by not creating any sort of violence against others, do everything in our power to prevent school bullying.
