Laceys Spring Community needs your help to stop a Rock Quarry owned by Darren Isbell & North AL Materials, Inc. & within 2 miles of Laceys Spring School (k-8) & next door to farms & homes! Our community opposes the permitting of this operation due to the environmental hazards, health hazards, road hazards, devaluation of property values, & structure damage to houses & other structures. We are aware that the excellent quality of naturally existing water sources still used by many of us for drinking, home, agricultural, & recreational purposes would be sacrificed & greatly reduced by the accumulation of lime sediments. The quarry poses risks of pulmonary diseases. Our roads & infrastructure do not support this operation & create grave danger for anyone traveling these roads. The proposed Rock Quarry will destroy the Laceys Springs Commumity Quality of Life!
