Stop Release of Depp v. Heard Juror Identities

The Issue

Jurors involved in high profile and controversial cases have their lives upended for the duration of what can be a lengthy process. With trials such as these, we owe it as a people, to honor them for their duties and to protect them post trial. This is important because we all rely on our legal jury systems.

In the case of Depp/Heard there is a great deal of knowledge that there is a specific dangerous hate group (Radical Feminist) which has long been indicating online, in Social Media platforms, that they wish harm to those who decided the, accurate, and legally accepted verdict. There have been many indications, including provable doxxing and threats; fake police and CPS calls; calling people’s workplaces in attempts to get them fired; constant online harassment that effects the lives of those targeted and all this done to those who merely support the verdict and the accuracy of the US justice system. Just the number of the death threats and wishes extended to the male victim of this case tell us that releasing victims names does not bode well for innocent jurors. There have been many indications of hatred from the Radical Feminists toward the judge, jurors, and many others involved. It would not be fair to those whom have done their Civic duty in determining the verdict in that trial to expose them to this group.

Although every system has moments of imperfection we all rely on our legal systems and jury’s to help us to obtain justice. It is already difficult to obtain people willing, able, and happy to serve in this capacity and those who do so deserve our applause and, when necessary, our greatest protections.

A simple search through Twitter or Redditt will assure anyone that these people are not safe if their identities are revealed. Please sign today as we near the date to the release of the identities of the jurors involved in this case!
