Residence & school children in the surrounding areas of Earsdon Road are at risk from drivers breaking the speed limit and running red lights at the traffic lights on this road. Please sign and help the community get extra safety measures/warning signs added to this road.

There has already been an incident which caused life changing injuries to the person hit by a car and another teenager badly shaken after being hit by a car in the same stretch of road, yet we are told unless there is a fatality speed cameras can not be fitted.

After numerous attempts to get the council to act we keep getting told another survey will be done, surveys don't give a true representation of the behaviour of drivers, as when surveyors are visible behaviours change temporarily. 

We desperately need increased signage and flashing speed signs on this road, to ensure, as best we can, that no one loses a loved one through someones reckless driving habits.

Prevention is key here and the council need to stand up and do whats right for their community.
