Help me stop psychiatric hospitals from using haloperidol(Haldol). Haldol  is an antipsychotic drug that decreases excitement in the brain. Haldol is used to treat psychotic disorders like schizophrenia, to control motor (movement) and verbal (for example, Tourette's syndrome) tics and is used to treat severe behavior problems in children. Psychiatric hospitals use this drug to "calm" patients. They inject in the rear-end with a needle. Some people say it feels like an entire bottle of liquid Benadryl is hitting you all at once. It can make your body feel limp.

    We need to stop psychiatric hospitals from using this on youth because the side effects from haldol are really severe. I remember once a boy was injected with it and couldn't remember what happened after he was injected. Like a gap of his mind was erased. Doctors use this drug against a child's will, and they don't consult a parent or guardian they just do it. To learn more about Haldol here is a link:
