For several decades the Reddick/Ocala rural area, including farms, homes and places of worship have served as a tranquil place of residence and farming to many. The threat of building an ATV & Paintball Sporting Center here will negatively impact the nearby families, their homes and day to day lives in addition to the serene setting of residents located within this farmland preservation area. 

Official public discussions were held on June 1st to review and modify the "Land Use Change" permit. Below are some key points presented when casting arguments against the amendment:

• Adversely affecting the public interest
• Incompatible with land uses of the surrounding area
• Inconsistent with local and state development goals 
• Adverse affect to aquifers and local wildlife 

Additional concerns include the building of the following: ATV Racetrack, ATV Repair Shop, ATV Retail Sales Shop, Refueling Center, Paintball Games Center, Events Center, RV Park & Dump Center.
