One day a bunch of people dressed in black with no name tags or job title or company name came in to my place of residence demanding that we residents would have to pick some deplorable housing options and or pack our bags by boxes from U-Haul and get ready to leave, again our will that is! We protested and asked why and we were told that there was a new owner and that was the new deal basically. We later find out A company named
 HOPE FOR AN AFFORDABLE LA LP has been said to be the  new owner of apartment building where I and others reside. that was back in October 2024 ever since then there has been eviction notices on our doors for all types of made up reasons and excuses and basically it seems very retaliatory just because we said no, and now they are finding reasons to evict and one of my neighbors have been evicted and is now sleeping in their car mind you we were all promised section 8 vouchers and to only be here for two years and is very small living quarters, and now it’s like that promise and they just want us to grin and Barrett, and we my neighbors are like hell no we won’t go we know our right and we know that this is fraudulent, and he’s doing it to all the properties that he took over he the new owner, Leo Pulstilnikov! I know this is just some corporate stuff, because they don’t even have our true leases, nor did they make a new one with us, they want to go based off an old one, but they also have to bring all the buildings that they acquired or he acquired or whoever And fix them up and if they want us out then they have to pay to get us out. that’s what we’ve been told and now that we see that they’re trying to affect us. I just feel like it’s not right because they’re actually their goal which is illegal and wrong and it’s not fair to my neighbors. This is also a Facility , where they receive treatment in case management and things like that and they recently took away all those services which has made my neighbors sick themselves, not care about themselves and their conditions, physical or mental or whatever has been exasperated, especially due to all the stress and these people are like goons to us they come in harassing us, threatening us lying on us sending us to jail  I’ve been attacked just for asking if things could get done around here and if we could get security and things like that, I believe that is a common landlord and it needs to be talked about and it needs to stop and they needs to be some laws against it and all my neighbors are with me on this even the other buildings as well because they shouldn’t have to go through some phony eviction  And only help out there is “legal aid“ and we all know that that’s just a sham, and I’m just so tired of knowing all these different corporations, agencies, whatever you call them are BS and not really helping anyone think I wanna do another petition just for that alone because it’s really unbearable at this point that no one can really help us in these types of situations  And they offer us a lot of fake adjudication, these people are lying on my neighbors left and right they will tell the police that my neighbors don’t live there so that that police can start to pick on them and have even taken some of them to jail, they told the police that I didn’t live here and I was breaking in, and the police took me to jail ! In jail and I get a letter in the mail for an unlawful detainer against that name hope for an affordable LP, and that was my first time even hearing about them because the company that so-called manages this building is an entirely different name, completely hart district management Inc…. they’re both a shady bunch and I want to do a petition to stop what they’re doing to me my neighbors and the other buildings, they are nonprofit agencies claiming to assist them, but all they’re trying to do is make them sign some type of promissory note saying the government or somebody some agency can pay the back rent, when they owe us because we just won a lawsuit for inhabit ability and the place is still uninhabitable so there’s another lawsuit pending because of that so we technically don’t owe them anything and they know that which is just mind-boggling to me ! We have to act now because if not, my neighbors will be on the street or signing these letters to get them some type of payment for back rent that they do not deserve especially since the city gave them millions on millions to fix these buildings, and they all look the same
