The USA has suffered from too many mass shootings and too much division so it is time to turn down the heat on hate. 

No responsible gun owner needs to pose with a gun.

Politicians that take macho pictures with weapons, send out the wrong message to those in society who may have mental health issues or those that are too immature to understand the responsibility, that comes with owning a firearm. 

This petition requests both Houses of Congress Vote to Make Using Firearms In Political Ads against the standards expected of a sitting US Politician or those seeking election to Congress or the Senate. 

George Washington said, “99% of failures come from people who make excuses.”.

There is not a single measure that will stop gun violence but every measure can help reduce it and there has been enough lives lost to "excuses" so it is time to "lead by example" and act.
