Stop Pitbull Discrimination

Stop Pitbull Discrimination
The Issue
Why should these dogs be crucified for what humans turned them into? It's not the dog that's bad it's the person. A dog raised with love and patience will be good, a dog raised with anger and violence will be bad, and that's what happens with pitbulls.
These dogs are guilty of nothing but loyalty. Dogs live to please, and if a dog hears "good boy" or "good girl" or "good dog" they take it as a sign they've made their owners happy and they'll do anything to keep their owners happy, even if they're hurting a person or another animal. Any dog can be a danger to humans, it's all about how they're raised.
Because these dogs are so hated people have to lie and say they're another breed or mix of dog. These dogs aren't even allowed on the street in some places without a muzzle or on the street period. In some places the state tears these dogs from their owners and puts them down just because of what they are.
PETA said the Vick dogs had to be put down, but many of them have been rehabilitated to be sweet and loving animals, one of the dogs has even become a therapy dog.
Humans gave these dogs their bad rep and we can give them a new and good rep. Don't punish the dog, punish the person.

The target on this petition says: "To end the discrimination of pitbulls and all "banned" breeds"
So it is not going to Congress or any organization. But the point here is to pledge to simply STOP discriminating pit bulls and any other breed. With love and care any dog can be friendly.
The picture on this pledge is myself with a pitbull. His story is very sad, because my friend and I found him tied to a tree with a wire and all beaten up, with lots of wounds. So this friend of mine, who is also a dog lover, and I treated his wounds, brought him home, fed him, took great care of him, gave love, and all of a sudden he became his best friend and he couldn't let him go, so he adopted him (my friend already had 2 big dogs at that time). The most sweet dog you can imagine. He was so docile that my friend took him to his work place (a bike shop that he owns) and he stayed there whole day playing with customers who were never afraid of him. So as this pledge states, any dog treated with love will be a great friend.
Please sign the pledge taking the oath to never discriminate any dog's breed.
Thanks so much!
