Lets stop paying more for less. Over the past few years, Inflation has gone up but not the minimum wage. People are still getting paid minimum wage while the prices of products go up. It's been 12-13 years since the last time the minimum wage has increased. The people who are impacted by this issue are people who already live in low income areas. Another group who are more affected by this problem are people of color. If we act now we can get the bill HR505 to pass and have the minimum wage increased for every state instead just a few states out of 50. The lower the minimum wage is the higher poverty can be. We can also slow down poverty by raising the minimum wage.
