Paul VI High School is promoting an event in which students are to stand outside the Cherry Hill Women's Center with an open manger and sing Christmas Carols at women with the expressed goal of encouraging "the moms to have their babies". Regardless of your stance on abortion, this is demonstrably harmful to the women at the clinic, with a significantly higher chance of traumatizing them than preventing them from going through with an abortion. The school is not only promoting this, but organizing it, and even granting service hours, something students of the school need to graduate, as an incentive for them to go. Administration needs to see that the student body doesn't see this as something that's acceptable and prevent the event from happening. I urge anyone reading this to sign this petition to show their support and email administration telling them that this isn't acceptable for a school you are paying tuition to to do.
