The Issue

Just one of so many cuteness overload pics and videos

Imagine a cheerful neighborhood where children play together, and families share laughter and companionship. That's what my community in New Forest has always been like. One of my closest neighbors, a genuinely lovely person whose children play harmoniously with mine, , also both children are subject to both autism and adhd, is facing a heart-wrenching challenge: the local district council is threatening to take away her beloved animals.

These animals are more than just pets; they're cherished family members. The bond between them and their owners is profound and full of affection. Removing them would not only devastate her family, but it would also deeply affect our entire community. It would disrupt the joyful ambiance that holds us all together.

The New Forest District Council's decision appears to be lacking understanding and compassion. It is essential for them to see how integral these animals are to the lives of families who care for them. Removing them could cause unnecessary emotional suffering and psychological distress, not only for their immediate owners but for friends and neighbors who cherish interacting with these animals.

We must advocate for solutions that promote harmony and understanding rather than separation and heartache. Perhaps, the council could work with the family on potential compromises, such as ensuring optimal living conditions or providing support resources, rather than resorting to such extreme measures.

Please sign this petition to urge New Forest District Council to reconsider their decision and allow families to keep their beloved animal members. Together, let's stand for compassion and community spirit.**To the Chief Executive
