This law threatens the safety and autonomy of minors who may be in dangerous or abusive households.

It will force some to seek unsafe alternatives, travel out of state at great expense, or carry pregnancies they are not ready for. Young people facing unplanned pregnancies deserve compassionate care and trusted medical guidance—not legal roadblocks and forced parental involvement that could put them at risk.
