Maryjane Byarm is a YouTube and Instagram influencer who promotes herself as a public figure within the travel arena of social media.

With over 340k followers on YouTube and 3k on Instagram, primarily made up of women of color.  Maryjane falsely promotes travel services and products on her social media platforms.  She has various websites she uses to sell trips, beauty products, clothes, and snack boxes.  When people send money for these products, Maryjane will send a tracking number, but the people never receive what they paid for.  They will reach out to her by email requesting a delivery date for their orders.  In response, Maryjane ignores and/or blocks the customer.  In thus, keeping their money and the customer never receiving their order.  Some people have gotten refunds after threats of law enforcement and legal action against Maryjane.

She has advertised international trips on her websites and social media pages for prices starting at $2,500.  Many women have paid Maryjane for these trips using Cash App and Zelle.  Once she receives the money, she stops all communication.  Some of the victims will receive itineraries, only to have it cancelled by Maryjane at the last minute, thus keeping the money and then blocking the victim.  Some victims receive no communication at all after sending money.  When they contact Maryjane for information, she makes false promises and/or blocks the customer.  Thus keeping the money and providing no trip.  A few women have gone on these trips, only to find out that everything they paid for was not included.  They paid for a full week hotel stay with round trip flights.  They would arrive to the destination to find out they only had 1-2 night hotel stay and no return flight home.  Not only did Maryjane not offer an explanation as to why these women were not getting the full accommodations they paid for, but she would also use these women for money while on these trips with her.  

Maryjane Byarm has scammed hundreds of women out of their hard earned money through the fraudulent practices of her websites:  maryjaneadventures.com and youngtraveler.org.  There are countless YouTube videos, reviews on Reddit, and complaints with the Better Business Bureau of her unethical practices and scams.

Please support this petition in hopes that we can get law enforcement to stop Maryjane Byarm and bring justice for the victims of her scams.  In an effort to protect people from further instances of fraud, please support people who ethically contribute to the travel community and stop influencers, like Maryjane Byarm who have harmed so many.
