Have you ever walked down your street or block and happen ton notice how filthy and dirty the area is? If not, go to New York City if you ever want to experience it.  The previous sentences are how other tourists or even immigrants may view NY rather than the big flashy buildings, celebrities and other attractions when they arrive to the city. To combat this problem we must gather people to band together and actually clean up trash in all five burrows, then we may combat this ugly perception on New York 

If you live in any of the five burrows you have experienced first hand the unsanitary sidewalks, stores, buses, trains, and constant flood of litter. Not only is littering a problem, rats and rodents have been running rampant in the last few years. This makes it painfully clear our current legislation concerning sanitation is not effective, even if you outlaw littering as a whole you can’t always catch and fine the eight million people living in NYC.

If we do not address this problem as soon as possible disease will be able to travel quickly through pests and rodents. Not only will this worsen the pandemic it will hurt the thousands of babies who travel with their mothers
