I have come across a disturbing video of a tradition which is more than 150 years old. This takes place in a village named Kurmun in West Bengal, India. 

Here tend to play with heads of dead human bodies in order to show their loyalty and devotion towards God Shiva. In local language which is Bengali it is known as the “Mora Matha Khela” which translates to ‘Playing with a head of a dead body’ in English. 

The whole incident is not clear to me as there is no proper source. I only came to know about the horrific nature of this through the YouTube short and video provided by this individual. 

In the comments I got to know that they were apparently playing with a one year old dead body of a child who passed away 4 days before this ritual took place. Apparently, the mother of the child was also in great shock, seeing her dead child like this. It is not confirmed but I have also read that a police case has been filed for the same.
