KOSA, or Kids Online Safety Act, is a bill in the U.S that if signed it can restrict what kids see on social media (LGBTQ+ stuff among others) and can allow parents to track everything their child does. This is bad for several reasons. One being that any closeted LGBTQ+ youth will be outed to their parents and potentially put in harmful situations. The second one being that su!c!de rates will instantly raise due to children looking up what’s going on with them and if the parents dismiss it several minors will commit Su!c!de because of it. We need to get the attention of the government officials to keep the youth safe.
