Stop Koala and Native Wildlife killings! A petition for responsible wind farm development!

The issue

The rapid and poorly planned construction of wind farms have caused significant destruction and deaths in native wildlife; through habitat demolition, roadkill and turbine collisions impacting koalas, kangaroos, echidnas, birds and other endangered species.

Bat collisions with turbines: Estimates of 12,000–40,000 deaths annually, particularly in Victoria.

Birds: AGL Energy's MacArthur Wind Farm reported 10.19 birds killed per turbine over 12 months, potentially totalling over 21,000 across Australia.
