My Name was Tho which means Blue in Lakota language. I was a Blue Tick Coonhound. I was a good dog my owner was a 1 year old little girl and her mama. I was not mean I was a protector for them. Any kids were able to climb on me, pull my ears. I just liked to roam around my town with my best friend named Buddy. He’s a German Shepard and he is the kindest dog too. I never bothered anybody. On May 3rd, 2024. I was on a chain with Buddy. I was minding my own business and a Oglala Lakota Housing Authority Security from Pine Ridge. Took me from my yard. My uncle (my owners brother) told him that she was their dog. He took her anyway. My owner got the call and tried to intercept what was to be done to me. I was sadly already gone when she found where I was. I was strangled along with 6 other dogs. I was dumped on a hill with them and left. My owner got my body and mourned me and buried me. My 1 year old owner is heartbroke. She hugged her mom and kissed her while her mom was holding me and begging for me to come back. I was buried on the families land. My owner wants Justice for me.
