Stop killing Genshin Impact

Stop killing Genshin Impact
El problema
Hello, I’m organising a community initiative focused on gathering and organising constructive feedback on various current issues within Genshin Impact and HoYoverse’s management.
The aim isn’t to stir up hatred or toxic controversy, but to bring players together to raise genuine concerns in an organised and professional manner, similar to other community movements that have gained visibility within the industry.
I want to gather proposals and support from the community on issues such as communication, poorly crafted content, and other aspects that are important to many players.
I’d like to know if you’d be interested in at least taking a look at the project or helping to raise its profile once it’s more fully developed.
I believe the community needs a more serious and unified way of getting its feedback across.
I’d like to try doing something like the ‘Stop Killing Games’ campaign, but I know this isn’t something illegal; it’s about giving a voice and visibility because I know the users with the loudest voices won’t help us, so I wanted Europe and America to join forces on this.
Complaints and suggested improvements regarding the game’s content:
1. Better rewards per event.
For some time now, Genshin has been reducing the number of pulls per version, to the point where it has become quite disappointing. They release between 9 and 12 5-star characters in a year; there are 9 versions over the course of a year. In each standard version, they offer 45 to 60 pulls, and in versions with content, 70 to 75 pulls over a 42-day period. Character events last 3 weeks, and to get a character, the average F2P user has to make a maximum of 90 pulls. If the 50/50 chance fails, that would be 180 pulls. In other words, to get a character, we’d have to wait at least 126 days (which is practically nothing).
2. Changes and improvements to endgame modes
Although several new endgame modes have been added, these are unfair to new players, making them difficult for the average player to complete. Furthermore, they require a minimum of 26 characters to play, out of the 110 currently available, as well as constellations and promotional weapons for additional rewards (pay-to-win), and there are issues with the duration of these modes and the wait for new rewards to be updated.
3. More feedback to the community
In other games, players’ voices have been listened to, whereas in Genshin this hasn’t been the case for the past six years, with review bombing, complaints and cuts to rewards occurring from time to time in recent years. Furthermore, it seems Genshin doesn’t want players’ money when they add a new mode that’s entirely based on microtransactions.
4. Skip button
In the new zone, story missions are combined with certain characters’ legendary quests, meaning that a single story arc now takes 4 to 5 hours to complete, rather than 7 or 8 hours, as well as extending it from around 3x to 6 or 7x, making the skip button even more essential for new players. This was first introduced in HSR, and in that game they did add the skip button following complaints from the community.
5. Quality of life improvements needed over the years.
Improvements to menus, mechanics and tutorials; Genshin has been around for over six years and there are parts of the game that feel a bit outdated and need to be improved.
This is a brief example of what needs to be highlighted and given a voice right now, because if we want changes, we need to make them now. They said they wanted the game to last 20 years, and if we’re going at this rate, I can’t see it lasting a quarter of that, let alone a decade. Please share this with whoever needs to see it, and thank you very much.
